Camo — AI-Powered Word Games

Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data Camo collects, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
Camo ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile application published by Keyvalue Software Systems. You can reach us at camo@keyvalue.systems.
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive:
An account is required to use Camo. We do not offer a guest or anonymous mode.
Camo offers in-app purchases including virtual items such as gems and lives. Payment and transaction data we process includes: purchase history, subscription plan details (managed via RevenueCat), billing status, entitlement records, payment gateway transaction references, and invoices.
We do not store card details and rely on third-party payment processors and app store billing (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) for payment processing. RevenueCat acts as our purchase management provider to track entitlements and subscription status.
When you use voice mode, your device's microphone captures audio and converts it to text using your device's built-in speech recognition (Google Speech on Android, Apple Speech on iOS). Audio is processed on-device by the operating system and is not transmitted to our servers. Only the resulting text transcript is sent as a game clue.
These are stored on your device only and are not transmitted to us.
Camo uses artificial intelligence to judge the clues and answers you submit during gameplay. When you submit a clue, the text of your clue is sent to our servers where it is processed by AI to determine whether the clue is valid, follows the game rules, and does not contain taboo words.
We do not use your clues, answers, or any other user-generated content to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. Your gameplay inputs are used solely for real-time game judging and are not retained for machine learning purposes.
No personal information (such as your name, email, or account details) is included in the data sent to the AI for clue evaluation — only the game clue text itself.

Where "Contract" is the legal basis, we process your data because it is necessary to provide the service you signed up for. Where "Legitimate interest" applies, we have balanced our interests against your rights and believe the processing is reasonable and expected.

Only the text of your clue is sent to AI providers for real-time game evaluation. No personal information (name, email, account details) is included. AI providers process data solely for inference and do not use it to train their models.

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data using commercially reasonable safeguards.
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Our servers and third-party service providers (including Google/Firebase, RevenueCat, and AdMob) may process data in the United States, India, and other jurisdictions. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect your data during international transfers.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data in two ways:
Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Some data may be retained in anonymized form for aggregate analytics, or as required by law. Deletion of your account is permanent and will result in the loss of any virtual items, scores, and game progress.

We do not sell or share your personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act. You have the right to know what data we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of any future sale. To make a request, email camo@keyvalue.systems.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights listed above under GDPR. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your rights have been violated.
Camo is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the app or on our website. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the latest revision.
